What you can pick
At Eppynt Christmas Tree Farm in Llangammarch Wells you choose your own Christmas tree in the field. Staff cut it down for you, net it and carry it to your vehicle, so you do not need to bring a saw. You can also pre-tag a tree with your name on an earlier visit and have it cut fresh on the day of collection or delivery; local delivery is available for a small fee.
The farm grows Norway spruce, Nordmann fir, Fraser fir and Noble fir, all home-grown. Outdoor display trees up to 15ft tall are also available.
The farm opens for Christmas trees from late November. Visiting hours are Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10am to 4pm; other times are by appointment only. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome. Wear warm, waterproof clothing and suitable footwear.

You pick your own tree, and the quality is what stands out: the trees are beautiful and amazing, and they hold their needles well right through Christmas. Staff are wonderful, friendly, patient and polite. Prices are very reasonable. It is a fun experience, and people come back for a second year.
