Murton Farm Christmas Trees

Murton Farm in Murton, Swansea is a family-run market gardening business that has operated for 150 years. From 1 December each year the farm sells Christmas trees it has grown on site for over 40 years. The trees are pre-selected for their shape and size. The range includes Nordman fir, which has soft needles that do not drop readily; Fraser fir, with slightly upward-turning branches, dark blue-green colour and a pleasant scent; noble fir, whose stiff branches hold heavy ornaments and provide greenery for wreaths; Norway spruce; lodge pole pine, an American long-needled pine that retains its bright green colour and has a pine aroma; and pot-grown Nordman fir. Pot-grown trees are living trees that can be kept in a pot or transferred to the garden at any time of year.

The farm also runs a farm shop and greenhouse on the same site. The entrance and car park are wheelchair accessible.
